The Rajput family is a very well known family in the city of udaipur. The rajputs have aced the business in the field of architecture.
It's a very pleasant morning in the Rajput mansion today. The mansion is full of workers running here and there as today Vihaan Rathore (reyansh's dad) "the hukum sa "of Rajasthan with his family is visiting to meet his best friend Ekansh Rajput (divya's dad).
Everybody is excited in the house and waiting for the Rathores to arrive. Akshara (divya's mom) was preparing sweets in the kitchen " jaldi jaldi hath chalao , voh log bas ate hi honge " she spoke to mukta , one of the maids. (Translation : do the work fast, they can come any time )."They are here" ekansh shouted from the living room. Ekansh and Samarth (divya's uncle) went to the entrance to greet them.
As soon as the family got out of the car ekansh was met with a tight bear hug by none other than vihaan rathore . "itne dino baad mile ek dusre ko iska matlab ye nhi ki ek dusre ka dam ghoot do" Samarth spoke while chuckling (translation : you met after so many days doesn't mean that you won't let each other breathe). Suddenly he was engulfed in a bone crusing hug by a tall man and he stumbled. "ahhh iss chipku daksh ko kyu laye apne sath?" (reyansh's uncle)samarth said while whinning like a child (translation : ahhh why did you bring this clingy daksh with you?). " Tujhse milne kese nhi ata yrr" daksh said while grinning ( translation : how could i miss meeting you).
The friendship of vihaan and ekansh was no doubt very strong but they kept irritating each other, same is with daksh and samarth its just that samarth is less expressive and daksh loves mischieves.
"ab tera hogya ho toh chod de " samarth said ( translation : if you are done then leave me please ) and everybody laughed at that , till now everybody had arrived at the entrance; akshara, meera (divya's aunt), damini (reyansh's aunt). Now daksh was glaring at samarth as if he will eat him raw, and samarth gave him a look that you asked for it bro.
"Leave all these talks and first let me meet princess" vihaan said pointing towards akshara who was coming down the staircase holding a cute 8 year old baby girl in her hands who was wearing a white frock.
Akshara gave the baby girl to vihaan with a smile. "what's your name beautiful?" he asked the baby girl while twirling her. The baby girl first looked at her mother and when she noded she said "Divu". "aww princess such a cute name, I am your uncle , vihaan uncle" vihaan spoke while walking towards anika . Anika quickly took her in her arms and kissed her cheek. Then she said "and I am your beloved aunty divu".
Soon anika started tickling her lightly and while giggling divya's eyes fell on the 9 year old boy that stood beside anika and was staring at her. "who izz he" she said in her baby voice.
And there reyansh was completely unaware of his surroundings and was staring at divya as if she is the most exquisite thing in the world. "his name is reyansh" anika spoke while placing her on the ground so that she could meet reyansh properly. "hlooo" (hello) divya spoke while waving her palm infront of reyansh's eyes.
Reyansh was till admiring her as if the world stopped in front of him. divya lightly hit his shoulder to gain his attention. He suddenly spoke "yesss" coming out of his lala land .
" kiya tumhe kam dikhta hai?" she asked confused ( translation : can't you see properly). Now he realised what he did and noticed that everybody was staring at him, so he spoke "mujhe dikhayi aur sunayi dono deta hai bs soch raha tha ki aur kitni der bahar khada rehna padega" everybody giggled at his statement and went inside ( translation: i can see and listen properly, i was just thinking that how much time more will i have to stand outside).
After serving water to everbody akshara turned to the kids and said " go and play upstairs in the playroom". After hearing this they turned to each other and divya spoke " iske sath?"(translation : with him?) , to which he asked "what do you mean by iske sath , kehna kya chahti ho?"( Translation: what do you mean by with him, what are you trying to say). "muummmaaaa mai nyi khelungi iske sath dekho na kese gur raha hai" divya said turning towards her mother from whom she earned a glare ( translation : mommmm i'll not play with him , look at the way he is glaring at me) and everybody controlled their laughs hearing this cutie. Seeing her mother she said "chalo" and literally dragged him upstairs ( translation: come).
AFTER 16 YEARS
It was a breezy and cold night in delhi. The view from the apartment's balcony was magnificent and there was a beautiful girl standing at the edge with her hands on the railing. yep, she is divya rajput. She was just staring at the busy roads of the city, she was lost thinking that how life too flies at a fast pace just like these busy roads of delhi.
After a few minutes passed she decided to go inside as tomorrow was a big day for her , so she just went straight to sleep as it was already midnight.
Next Morning 🌅
Divya woke up yawning then she took her phone and seeing the time she ran towards the washroom. She quickly wore black pants and coat with a black top, then she just applies kajal and just a lip gloss and rushed towards the court.
As she reached the gate she saw a girl who was standing on the entrance. "take this fast" the girl said giving divya the court and some papers. "what would i do without you ahana" divya spoke while wearing the coat. "You'd probably need to wake up on time" said ahana and they both chuckled and rushed inside.
As she entered the court room the hearing started. After 2 hours she finally won the case on which she was working from past 3 months. She was very happy not because she won the case, she was happy because she was able to save an innocent person from being punished. As she came out of the courtroom she was startled by a sudden back hug by her bestie 'ahana'.
"we have to leave tomorrow for mumbai , I will miss this place." she said pouting. "what will you miss? this place or delhi's food?" divya said with a smirk on her face. "don't tease me huh its so tasty what can I do?" ahana winced making divya chuckle a bit. "Now come lets pack our bags" said divya and both started heading towards their apartments.
Both were going back to mumbai tomorrow. Both's families lived in the same city mumbai as they are besties since school and love each other a lot. The rajputs shifted to mumbai when divya was 13 years old.
Meanwhile in the rajput mansion in mumbai on the next day...
There was total chaos right now in the mansion, the servants were running all over the palace and suddenly one dominating voice boomed in the mansion "are the decorations done" Shlok rajput (grandfather of divya) asked to his son ekansh. "Yes, dad done". "Is all the food ready?" he asked to his daughter in laws akshara and meera, "will be done in 5 mins" they said in unison. "Is her room cleaned vansh?" he asked to his grandson (cousin of divya), "yes dadu" he shouted from upstairs." Is the car and the driver ready?" , he asked to Kartik (brother of divya).
He got annoyed a little bit and said "you are panicking from past 1 hour dadu , since morning we are preparing for your beloved daughter's welcome and there are still 2 whole hours left for her flight to land, just calm down and yess car's also ready". "I have to panick as it is my daughter coming back, everything should be perfect just like her" dadaji said while smiling.
Everybody just huffed at his antics and started checking evrything once more as they know that if something is wrong then dadaji will burst out for sure.
After 2 hour 30 minutes.
Her pov
Finally I reached my home, I came out of the car and looked at the raput mansion, after whole 4 years I was looking at it. I was really excited to meet my whole family but when I entered in the mansion it was all dark making me think where everybody went. "koi hai gharpe?" I yelled from the door.
And soon all the lights came on and everybody yelled "welcome back" at the top of their lungs and I got shocked but soon composed myself. In just a flip of a second I was engulfed in a bearly hug by none other than my karthik bhai. I also hugged him back but he was not ready to leave me which made me chuckle.
"oyy hat mujhe toh milne de meri beti se" papa spoke (translation : heyy get aside atleast let me meet my daughter) to which he said "wait karo apni baari ka abhi mujhe time lagega" 😂( translation: wait for your turn i'll take time) everybody was stunned as the karthik rajput who always speaks less is now being all cute and emotional."
"apni baari ka wait nhi karunga mujhe bhi issi me include karlo"🥺 ( translation: i won't wait for my turn include me too in this hug only) saying this papa hugged us both. Seeing all this I was getting emotional and tears started to flow from my eyes. My family members are very mature and well mannered but they treat me like i am not in my early twenties, i am in kindergarten.
Seeing this dadu spoke"chalo tum dono hato dekho rula diya na meri bacchi ko huh" ( translation : get aside both of you see, you made my daughter cry) and engulfed me in his embrace and then I said " these are happy tears daduu". "I know but i can't see tears in your eyes. if you are happy then just laugh"he spoke lovingly and I noded and a hand wiped my tears.
I looked towards the owner of the hand and it was my maa💖 who was smiling, now I jumped on her like a monkey and hugged her and she chuckled. "how's my baby" she asked and I said "I don't know how I was before meeting you all but now I am totally happy", she left me and patted my head.
"divuu come here" my chachu called me from behind and I went towards him, he was sitting on the couch with fake anger. "aww why is my chachu angry" I asked with a small chuckle."how will be I when my only daughter was away from me" he said while sulking. I sat on the sofa and hugged him and said"I promise I won't go anywhere now", "pakka" he asked and I said "pakka" and now he too hugged me back.
"hey where's my vansh bhai and chachi" I asked not finding them around to which chachu replied "they will be here in the evening they had to go to your chachi's home this morning as there was some emergency". I noded at him and then dad spoke "beta your room's ready go freshen up and come down for lunch". "ok" I said and he pecked my forehead and I went upstairs.
