Well the last thing on my list is going back to udaipur.
"no" I said firmly. He didn't even react to my reply and continued to feast on the breakfast.
Maybe he misunderstood yesterday night' Whole scenario. I asked him to stay because I was shocked from what happened. And seeing someone familiar made me lose my senses maybe. I should clear everything right away before he misunderstands me.
"listen hukum sa I am really grateful that you stayed last night at my request but...I was really exhausted and scared that is why all that sort of happened, I am sorry for the inconvenience but I request you to forget about it" I tried to explain him.
"forget?... well I have a serious problem..... i never forget anything mrs. Rathore"
What the heck!
"well I can help sar pe zor se vase mardu yee toh kya khud ka vajood bhi bool jaoge" (translation: well I can help, I can hit your head with a vase, then leave last night, you'll forget your own existence)
"well you can try Mrs. Rathore"
"stop calling me Mrs. Rathore"
"well it is what it is , its your name"
"no its not"
"well ab kya marriage certificate dikhau?!" (translation: well now shall I show you the marriage certificate)
"leave it you're getting on my nerves tum vase khane ke hi layak ho"(Translation: you're worthy of getting hitted with a vase only)
After saying this in an instant I picked up the vase from the nearby table and bolted towards his side of the table.
but before I could do anything he got up in a speed almost double than mine and nocked me out. We fell on the sofa that was behind the dining table. chalo chote ghar ka kuch toh fayda... (translation: atleast some advantage of having a small house)
I scrunched my eyes shut. I felt a heavy weight on my front. That technically meant I was under him??! What the actaul fuck! Vase toh kaha hai pata hi nahi. (translation: where did the vase goo).
I opened my one eye and a shirt came in my view, ohh wait so it is his chest. Now I opened my both eyes and yanked my neck up to see his not so greek god face. What the hell did I just thought. I need a psychatrist for sure just... just .... Because of this annoying hukum.
Ahhh! Bhagwan isko dur rakhna mujhse warna me mar var dungi. (translation: god keep him away from me or else I'll end up killing him). When I looked at him he was already staring at me.
our eyes met.
It feels so different and.. and.. insane when I closely look at his eyes. It feels like there's an unknown world somewhere in which only we both are there. Nobody else. Like there's just us and we are more than enough. His hazel eyes god they are in itself a mystery waiting to be solved. And he well he....
Why is he so...
my thoughts came to an hault as he did something...something absurd.
Author's pov
Some strands of her hair were falling on divya's face and interuppting reyansh's view. Reyansh lifted his hand and with his index finger tucked the hair strands ever so gently behind her ear and whispered "amber".....
Divya's eyebrows scrunched on hearing the name. she seemed to be lost in thoughts for a bit, maybe wondering about the name. She tried to get up but couldn't as reyansh was lying on top of her. She gestured him from her eyes to get up.
But He purposefully raised his eyebrows in a questioning manner. That what are you saying? I don't understand!
Again divya gestured him to move and again he did the same thing.
Now divya got a lot annoyed.
How and when did this game turned upside down. In the past divya used to do all these things and annoy him but now...now... reyansh is annoying her. What changed between them ?
"uth ne ko keh rahi hu"(translation: I'm telling you to get up)
Then he made an oh face and stood up from her. After 2 seconds divya too got up huffing. Looking at him she started dusting her dress. She flipped her hair back and started to move towards the kitchen.
Reyansh was just staring at her fading figure but suddenly he steps came to an hault. She turned back. Reyansh raised his eyebrows aking her that what happened ? divya started playing with the hem of her top. He wasn't able to understand anything but finally contemplating after so long two words left her mouth.
"who's amber"
Reyansh seemed to be shocked for a second on her question but after a few seconds he couldn't hold more and gave a big toothy smile shaking his head. Divya got confused to all this.

Mene isko ek important sawal pucha aur ye.... Ye ... annoying hukum hass raha hai. Isko sharm nahi atii. Wese toh bada *I am the most stoic personality* banke ghum raha hota hai. Ab kya hogya? Kaha gayi sari stoicness? (translation: I asked him such an important question and he...he... the annoying hukum is laughing. Doesn't he have any shame. Normally he'll roam arouund everywhere like he's the most stoic personality on earth. Now what happened? Where did all his stoicness go?)
I didn't stand there for a second more and left from there towards the kitchen to do the dishes and wrap up the kitchen.
Now eating pancakes well mood udd gya....
After few minutes
As I was applying soap on the vessels his smiling face kept coming in front of my eyes. Sooo... he smiles too. New information found. Like seriously I never saw him smiling so genuinely. But why am I even thinking about his smile.
Merko dekh ke thodi hass raha tha. (translation: anyways he wasn't smiling because he was looking at me).
he was smiling just by taking her name... what was it ? yeah 'amber'. Amber huhh. I guess london was quite an adventure for him. He enjoyed a lot. Ladkibaaz kahika. Wait till i tell her mom. When he'll get beaten then only he'll regain his senses. Huhh !!
Isn't he ashamed of taking some other girls name right in front of his wife.
Koyi aur hoti toh pata chalta muh tod deti (translation: if it would have been somebody else than he would have come to know, she would have broke his face).
Ye amber se ek baar milna padega jisne iss khadoos hukum ke muh pe smile la di (translation: i for once need to meet this amber who brought a smile on this rude hukum's face).
Mujhe dekhke toh hamesha annoy he hota hai (translation: on seeing me he'll only get annoyed every time)
I finished my work quickly, wiped my hands and moved towards the main hall.
What would be he doing ?
I should ask him to leave now. Why did he even came here in the first place ?
As I reached the hall I found him sitting on the couch and his legs were on the table in front of him. He was thinking something I guess.
His pov
As soon as she came out of the kitchen, I preteneded that as if like I didn't knew that she was here. She took some steps ans stood in front of me with hands on her waist. Well it was a sight divya rajput all baffled. You don't get to see it everyday.
She was stomping her foot on the ground continuously.
"what ?" I asked her.
"when are you getting out or you want me to throw you out hukum sa"
"hukum sa ko bahar phekne ki baat not bad Mrs. Rathore"
(Translation :planning to throw the hukum sa outside, well not bad mrs. Rathore)
"shukar manao abhi sirf bahar phekne ki baat ki hai"
(Translation: be thankful that I am only talking about throwing you out till now)
"I'll surely leave.... When you pack your bags and stand on the main door"
"and what made you think I'll do that"
"and what made you think that I'll leave without taking you with me, see for the last time I am asking you politely, else you shift or you have to tell me what happened last night so that I can settle it"
She was baffled would be an understatement. She released a breath and sat on the nearby couch maybe wondering what to do. Well I was not wrong either she tells me what happened so I make sure it doesn't bother her next time.
So she can live here for some time more peacefully till I convince her. Because whoever was responsible for her that condition knew about her whereabouts for sure.
The final verdict is Either she tells me or leaves with me.
I let her think for the time being, she can think for a whole day but at last I have to make sure that whatever the consequences are they are for her well-being.
After a good 10 minutes she said "on one condition".
" you very well know, I am not prone to conditions, either this or that"
"see sure thing if I come then only till I solve yesterday's matter on my own or else no, I don't like to involve others in my matter"
Ok so this is it I guess, for now I may agree to this than later on I can figure out what to do. At least I'll get some time.
Well if I force her to come forever she'll die out of shock. So let's go with the flow.
"ok fine"
She noded and sprinted towards her bedroom, maybe to pack her bags I guess. I was still sitting on the sofa thinking what to do after she sorts out her mishap.
Well actually thing is what is her mishap. I picked up my phone and started to make arrangements so that we can leave today itself.
Finally we'll be home after 2 long months.
After 1 hour
All the arrangements are done I am just waiting for her to come. But there are no signs of her. I decided to knock on the door then.
After knocking there was no response from the other side.
What is she doing ?
I knocked again but still no response. I twisted the knob and surprisingly it was already open. As I entered the room it was completely empty. Just there were some suitcases neatly packed. I started to roam in the room and suddenly, she came out of a nearby door and we both got scared.
AAAAA!!!
AAAAA!!!
Her hands were on her collarbones and her chest was heaving up and down because of heavy breathing.
"you scared me" she yelled on me.
"kyu wese toh badi independent, fearless woman banti gumti ho ab itne me dar gayi"(translation: why what happened now to the fearless, independent woman you always pretend to be)
"ab tum bhoot ki tarah andar aye usme mein kya karu"(translation: what can I do if you came in like a ghost)
" I came in like a ghost? You came out like a ghost"
"no, after packing, I just went to washroom to freshen up"
I guess our fights and bickering will never end. Well the thing is I don't want them to end. I huffed and got out of the room. I don't want them to end?? Me toh inse chid ta tha ab kyu maza a raha hai? (Translation: i used to get annoyed of all this then why am i enjoying right now?)
"bags koon uthwayega hukum sa"(translation: who'll pick up the bags?) she yelled from the room.
Main kooli hu kya? (translation : am I a coolie?)
